Eddie King's Tour of the Lost Souls
A closed theatre, an empty space and one very deranged tour guide....With a set of stolen keys in his pocket and a Gin habit to maintain Eddie King would like to invite you to his once in a life-time tour of lost souls at the Tobacco Factory. Your guide is a liar, a cheat and addicted to cheap speed & even cheaper thrills; so if you're brave enough let Eddie lead you around his weird and wonderful world of washed up comics, stage struck actors, serial daters, unrepentant smokers and the clinically insane.
Eddie King's Non-Refundable Tour of the Lost Souls is a unique event by darkstuff Productions using the whole of the Tobacco Factory Theatre building as a performance space for six new monologues by Joanne Lancastle, Phil John, Matt Grinter, Jasper Larsen, Dom Rowe & Simon Harvey - Williams. The event is directed by Sam Berger, artistic director of Plain Clothes Theatre Productions.

The Outsider
The outsider of the title is Meursault, a man emotionally isolated from the world around him. His detachment is challenged when he meets two people, one of whom offers him the new sensation of companionship, and the other the equally unfamiliar opportunity for love.Camus’ extraordinary style is powerfully transposed into rich, intense drama by the finest acting and directorial talent around, along with a especially composed soundtrack. In the stifling heat of the Algerian sun, Meursault finds himself caught up in a series of events which result in his arrest for a brutal murder. While awaiting his trial he begins to engage with the fundamental questions of his existence for the first time. What is the purpose of God? What is man’s duty to society? And what happens when the rules of society are broken?
"passionately intense and creatively rewarding"
